Terms & conditions

PLEASE READ THIS STATEMENT CAREFULLY.

Scandinavian Gymhouse SL (“Gymhouse”)

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the facilities, services, and memberships at Scandinavian Gymhouse SL (hereafter “Gymhouse”). By becoming a member or using our facilities, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Memberships & Payments

  • Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

  • Membership is paid monthly in advance at the reception desk or via the approved payment methods (e.g., card or cash).

  • Memberships are non-recurring, meaning they do not renew automatically. Members must renew each month to continue access.

  • If a membership is not renewed before expiry, access to the gym will be suspended until payment is made.

  • Fees are subject to change. Any price changes will be communicated in advance.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Since memberships are paid month-to-month, cancellation simply means not renewing for the next period.

  • Refunds are not given once a membership period has begun, unless required by law.

  • Any special promotions or packages may be subject to their own conditions.

3. Use of Facilities

  • Members must check in at reception or present a valid membership card upon entry.

  • Opening hours are published on the website and at the gym entrance. Hours may vary on public holidays and special occasions.

  • Gymhouse reserves the right to temporarily close areas for cleaning, maintenance, or events.

4. Health & Safety

  • Members confirm they are in good health and capable of physical exercise before using the facilities.

  • All equipment must be used safely and in accordance with staff instructions.

  • Proper gym attire, including clean sports shoes, must be worn at all times.

  • For safety, children are not permitted in the gym areas unless attending a supervised class.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Members must treat staff and other members with respect.

  • Equipment must be wiped down after use and returned to its proper place.

  • Aggressive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund.

  • No smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are permitted on the premises.

6. Personal Belongings

  • Lockers are available for day use only.

  • Gymhouse is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • Valuables should not be left unattended.

7. Liability

  • Members use the facilities at their own risk.

  • Gymhouse is not liable for injuries, accidents, or health issues arising from training or facility use, unless caused by negligence on our part.

8. Data Protection

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

  • By becoming a member, you consent to the use of your information for membership administration and communication.

9. Amendments

  • Gymhouse may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary.

  • Any changes will be communicated at the gym or on our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.

By paying for a membership and using the facilities, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
